Grace United Methodist Church Wautoma, WI

  Grace UMC is a Church that has been serving the Wautoma area for 150 years. Grace UMC is partly the result of the merger between various local faith communities, the most recent being the result of the 1968 national merger of the Evangelical United Brethren Church (EUB) and The Methodist Church.

  Recently the Church has been in reflection on its identity and mission. This has lead to a focused effort to continue what is going well and to make shifts to revitalize other ministry areas to be more effective at carrying out our mission in the 21st century. This means we are seeking to continue connecting those already a part of this church while also seeking to connect younger generations and those who do not have a church home yet.

  Helping us with this effort is a 4 year ministry plan based on Bishop Robert Schnase's book and model called "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations". The five focuses are: Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk Taking Mission and Service, and Extravagant Generosity.
